The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from Feb. 12-18

 

Feb. 12

–Miscellaneous incident from the 3000 block of Brook Highland Drive, Birmingham.

–Leaving the scene of an accident from the 2100 block of Indian Crest Drive, Birmingham. A mailbox valued at $600 was damaged.

–Harassing communications from the 100 block of El Camino Real, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous incident-property damage from the 200 block of Thompson Road, Alabaster.

–Theft of property fourth degree from the 4000 block of Shelby County 22, Montevallo. An Android phone valued at $100 was stolen.

–Theft of property third degree from the 4000 block of Park Crossings Drive, Chelsea. Nine 2-by-8 wood tone valued at $333, two 6-by-6 wood columns valued at $152, two 4-by-4 pressure treated posts valued at $50 and six four-foot angle irons valued at $156 were stolen.

–Identity theft from Hubbard Road, Helena.

–Theft of property third degree from the 500 block of Olmstead Street, Birmingham. Several silver knives, forks and spoons valued at $750 were stolen.

–Theft of property from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. A black 2006 Honda Accord valued at $8,000 was stolen.

–Domestic violence-harassment from the 200 block of Big Rock Drive, Calera.

 

Feb. 13

–Miscellaneous incident from the 5000 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

–Theft of property from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. U.S. currency totaling $220 was stolen.

–Miscellaneous information from the 100 block of Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham.

–Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Birmingham Street, Montevallo.

–Civil dispute from the 4000 block of South Shades Crest Road, Bessemer.

–Attempting to elude law enforcement officer and possession of drug paraphernalia from Heritage Road at Shelby County 47, Shelby.

–Death investigation from the 5600 block of Heatherbrooke Parkway, Birmingham.

–Burglary third degree from the 1400 block of Shelby County 468, Vincent. A Mossberg 500 12 gauge, a Mossberg lever action 30-06, a Savage 110 and a checkbook were stolen.

–Theft of property from the 2400 block of Creswell Road, Harpersville. 750 feet of copper telephone line valued at $10,000 was stolen.

–Domestic violence-harassment from Eddings Lane, Alabaster.

–Harassment from Mitchell Concrete, Alabaster.

–Miscellaneous incident-trespass from the 400 block of U.S. 31, Alabaster.

–Harassment from the 80th block of Chism Circle, Montevallo.

 

Feb. 14

–Public intoxication from the 4700 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

–Harassing communications from the 2000 block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Elliott Lane, Westover.

–Theft of property fourth degree from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. General merchandise valued at $69.85 was stolen.

–Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 10000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea.

–Driving under the influence and no driver’s license from the 5300 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

–Fire investigation from the 100 block of Wilson Glenn Drive, Wilsonville.

–Chemical endangerment of a child and possession of marijuana from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

–Runaway juvenile from the 10000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea.

–Theft of property from the 200 block of Cypress Lane, Montevallo. A 2008 Jeep Wrangler was stolen.

–Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 10000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea. A Regions debit card, an Alabama driver’s license, $15 in U.S. currency and Ray Bans valued at $120 were stolen.

–Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 100 block of Sommersby Drive, Pelham.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Sharpe Street, Sterrett.

–Public intoxication from the 10000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 200 block of McDow Road, Columbiana.

 

Feb. 15

–Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Shelby County 259, Montevallo.

–Allowing dogs to run at large from the 200 block of Hebb Road, Wilsonville. Two breeder chickens valued at $400 were damaged.

–Miscellaneous incident from the Shelby County Courthouse, Columbiana.

–Domestic investigation from the 1000 block of Shelby County 70, Columbiana.

–Duty upon striking fixtures upon highway from the 100 block of Shire Valley Farms, Chelsea. Thirty feet of wooden fence with posts valued at $1,000 were damaged.

–Minor in possession of alcohol from the 600 block of Lime Creek Way, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 10000 block of Shelby County 55, Sterrett.

–Miscellaneous incident from I-65 south at mile marker 234, Calera.

–Domestic investigation from the 4600 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

–Theft of property from the 3000 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Indian Springs. A diamond pendant necklace with one large diamond in the middle valued at $6,500 was stolen.

–Theft of property from the 100 block of Innisbrook Lane, Birmingham. A Dewalt laser level valued at $550 was stolen.

–Attempted theft of property third degree from the 5000 block of Indian Valley Road, Birmingham.

–Theft of property from Laura Lane, Chelsea.

–Domestic violence-harassment from the 4600 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

–Fire investigation from Shelby County 42 at Shelby County 47, Shelby.

–Distribution of a controlled substance from the 10000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea.

 

Feb. 16

–Shooting into unoccupied dwelling and criminal mischief third degree from the 100 block of Hammock Lane, Shelby. A white ceiling tile valued at $25 was damaged and a window valued at $300 was damaged.

–Property damage from the 5200 block of Shelby County 47, Columbiana. A 2017 Chrysler Pacifica was damaged.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 4200 block of Ashington Drive, Birmingham.

–Miscellaneous information from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham.

–Harassment from the 300 block of Chesser Plantation Lane, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous information from the 3200 block of Shelby County 331, Columbiana.

–Animal complaint from the 400 block of Shelby County 223, Montevallo.

–Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Nelson Circle, Montevallo.

–Theft of property second degree from the 700 block of Gould Road, Columbiana. A Mossberg .22 caliber model 702 valued at $100 was stolen.

–Giving false name in the 900 block of Alpine Way, Pelham.

 

Feb. 17

–Driving under the influence from the 5300 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

–Driving under the influence from U.S. 280 at Shelby County 51, Westover.

–Leaving the scene of an accident from the 4700 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. A 2004 black Hyundai XG350 and a 2010 green Lexus ES350 were damaged.

–Domestic investigation from the 2900 block of Coatbridge Lane, Birmingham.

–Criminal trespass and theft of property fourth degree from Vapor’s thrift store, Birmingham. Various clothing, kid’s DVDs, suit cases and various dishes and kid’s toys were stolen.

–Property damage from Alabama 119 at Forest Village Lane Road, Alabaster. A red 2015 Nissan Altima was damaged.

–Unlawful carry of a firearm from the 5000 block of Shelby County 28, Columbiana.

–Missing person from the 200 block of Shelby County 204, Montevallo.

–Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 5000 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

–Domestic violence third degree-criminal mischief from Magnolia Drive, Maylene. Driver and passenger side mirrors and the front driver’s side headlight lens valued at $450 were damaged.

–Domestic violence-assault from the 2000 block of Shelby County 10, Montevallo.

–Theft of property from the 900 block of Shelby County 315, Columbiana.

–Agency assist and unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 100 block of Geronimo Circle, Montevallo.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 3000 block of Madison Lane, Chelsea.

 

Feb. 18

–Miscellaneous incident-juvenile run away from the 300 block of Kings Ranch Lane, Chelsea.

–Theft of property fourth degree from U.S. 280, Chelsea. Miscellaneous merchandise valued at $88.65 were stolen.

–Property damage from Shelby County 47 at Shelby County 49, Chelsea. A Nissan Versa was damaged.

–Property damage from U.S. 280, Chelsea. A utility trailer and a gas pump were damaged.

–Criminal mischief third degree from the 2800 block of Lullwater, Birmingham. A 2015 Chevy Equinox was damaged.

–Miscellaneous information from the 1200 block of Weatherby Cove, Birmingham.

–Cruelty to animals from the 100 block of Clear Springs Way, Shelby.

–Burglary third degree from the 300 block of Maplewood Lane, Vandiver. Several pieces of plywood valued at $1,000 and several pieces of flooring valued at $1,000 were stolen.

–Theft of property from Nelson Circle, Montevallo. A Goodman four-ton central air unit valued at $1,000 was stolen.

–Theft of property from Spring Creek Grocery, Shelby. U.S. currency totaling $8,000 was stolen.

–Theft of property from Christy Drive, Shelby. A Troy Built 6250 generator valued at $890.04 was stolen.

–Theft of services from Jade Lane, Shelby. Electricity totaling $3,000 was stolen.

–Theft of property first degree from the 7200 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham. A 16-foot utility trailer valued at $2,671.25 was stolen.

–Burglary from the 1100 block of Shelby County 9, Wilsonville. A Briggs and Stratton Generac Model 9100-2 generator valued at $2,330 was stolen.

–Burglary third degree from the 1400 block of Dunnavant Valley Road, Birmingham. Three Stihl blowers valued at $1,410 and hedge trimmers valued at $400 were stolen.

–Miscellaneous information from the 100 block of Wildwood Chapel Road.

–Domestic violence-harassing communications from the 17000 block of Kenley Way, Birmingham.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 400 block of Dogwood Circle, Birmingham.
