James Osborn, age 79, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, March 27.

The visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday, April 1 at South Shelby Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. David Warren officiating. Burial will follow at the Columbiana City Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.

Mr. Osborn was a member and deacon of South Shelby Baptist Church, and was the owner of A & P Equipment.

Mr. Osborn is preceded in death by his parents, William “Dub” and Flonell Osborn.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Joan Osborn; children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; one sister; one brother; and numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Shelby Baptist Church Building Fund.
