The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from April 17-23:

 

April 17

–Miscellaneous incident from the 1600 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

–Burglary and theft of property fourth degree from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham. Candy and drinks totaling $10 were stolen and a concession stand window was damaged.

–Public intoxication from the 7000 block of Shelby County 47, Shelby.

–Theft of property from the 2300 block of Shelby County 56, Wilsonville. A 2018 Kia Forte valued at $11,000 was stolen.

–Burglary third degree and unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 10000 block of North Main Street, Wilsonville. One Husqvarna weedeater valued at $389, one Husqvarna leaf blower valued at $299, one portapower valued at $500, four ratchet straps valued at $50, one Greenlee wire cutter valued at $400 and one steel tiller valued at $239 were stolen.

–Domestic violence-harassment from the 400 block of Forest Lakes Drive, Chelsea.

–Theft of property first degree from the 4600 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. Two Davidoff Florida signature cigars valued at $59.48, two boxes of Opus 13 Destinay cigars valued at $810, 10 boxes of Opus 13 Torchbearer cigars valued at $3,890, six boxes of Opus 13 Keeper of the Flame cigars valued at $2,729.34, nine Davidoff Royal Salamone cigars valued at $900 and seven Davidoff Royal Robusto cigars valued at $559.93 were stolen.

–Burglary and theft of property fourth degree from the 300 block of Roubdioux Road, Bessemer. A corner cabinet valued at $75, an adding machine valued at $25 and a picture album valued at $20 were stolen.

–Receiving stolen property third degree from the 200 block of Meadow Crest Farm Road, Wilsonville. One Portapower valued at $500, four ratchet straps valued at $50, one Greenlee wire cutter valued at $400 and one Husqvarna 240 chainsaw valued at $350 were stolen.

–Animal complaint from the 6900 block of Shelby County 26, Columbiana.

–Permitting dogs to run at large from the 100 block of Shelby County 471, Sterrett.

 

April 18

–Vehicle fire from the 1100 block of Shelby County 24, Calera. A 2008 Nissan Altima was damaged.

–Criminal mischief from the 3000 block of Shelby County 10, Montevallo. One Ariens riding lawn mower was damaged.

–Miscellaneous incident-lost property from Alabama 119, Birmingham.

–Criminal mischief from Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham. A 2018 Mazda CX5 was damaged.

–Criminal trespass and harassing communications from the 7100 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

–Allowing dogs to run at large from the 2400 block of Indian Lake Drive, Hoover.

–Theft of services first degree from the 300 block of Shelby County 406, Shelby.

–Domestic violence/harassment from the 2500 block of Magnolia Place, Birmingham.

–Theft of property-shoplifting from the 5500 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. Thirty-five Padron cigars valued at $1,500 were stolen.

–Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit card from the 3600 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham. A black leather wallet valued at $50, $669.54 were charged to a debit card, $8 in U.S. currency and a victim’s driver’s license were stolen.

–Driving under the influence from Bowling Drive at U.S. 280, Birmingham.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Elyton Drive, Birmingham.

–Death investigation from the 1000 block of Regent Park Drive, Birmingham.

–Theft of property from the 100 block of Highland View Drive, Birmingham. Five purses totaling $14,275 were stolen.

–Miscellaneous incident from Alabama Youth Drive, Westover.

 

April 19

–Death investigation from the 3600 block of Shelby County 69, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Inverness Cliffs Apartments, Birmingham.

–Property damage from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 5600 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

–Fire investigation from the 10000 block of North Main Street, Wilsonville. The kitchen and living room area of a mobile home was damaged.

–Property damage from the 7400 block of Shelby County 51, Chelsea. A commercial sign was damaged.

–Harassment from the 5300 block of Meadowlark Lane, Birmingham.

–Domestic investigation from Shelby County 478, Leeds.

–Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from Shelby County, 28 and Myrtle Street, Columbiana.

–Theft of property from U.S. 280, Chelsea. An auto air filter, and six car batteries were stolen.

–Forgery from the 9500 block of Old Highway 280, Chelsea.

–Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 5100 block of Meadow Brook Road, Birmingham.

–Theft of property fourth degree from the 4600 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. Strawberries valued at $1.29 and fruit snacks valued at $4.99 were stolen.

 

April 20

–Duty upon striking unattended vehicle from the 5200 block of Chesapeake West, Birmingham. A 2014 Honda Civic Lx was damaged.

–Assault from the 5300 block of Meadowlark Lane, Birmingham.

–Harassing communications from the 5300 block of Meadowlark Lane, Birmingham.

–Burglary and criminal mischief from the 100 block of Shelby County 253, Montevallo. An LG 60-inch plasma TV and door casing were damaged and a welding helmet valued at $145 was stolen.

–Public intoxication from the 100 block of Chelsea Corners, Chelsea.

–Domestic violence investigation from the 1000 block of Crawford Court, Chelsea.

–Assault from the 100 block of Ballard Drive, Alabaster.

–Assault from Nelson Circle, Montevallo.

–Miscellaneous incident from Diamond Lane, Montevallo.

–Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana.

–Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle from the 200 block of Wade Drive, Montevallo. One Ozark cooler valued at $100 was stolen.

 

April 21

–Death investigation from the 2100 block of Shelby County 47, Columbiana.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 5000 block of Old Dunnavant Valley Road, Sterrett.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 200 block of Lokey Lane, Wilsonville.

–Domestic violence investigation from the 400 block of Sunset Lake Circle, Chelsea.

–Theft of property third degree from the 500 block of Shelby County 438, Wilsonville. A yellow gold ring valued at $600 was stolen.

 

April 22

–Domestic violence-menacing from the 200 block of Clear Springs Way, Shelby.

–Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 13000 block of Shelby County 17, Montevallo.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

–Civil dispute from the 3000 block of Shelby County 93, Helena.

–Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana from the 9000 block of Shelby County 17, Maylene.

–Possession of marijuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia from the 10000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous incident from the 1000 block of Crawford Court, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous incident from Shelby County 69 at Shelby County 39, Chelsea.

–Miscellaneous information from the 400 block of Sunset Lake Circle, Chelsea.

–Assault third degree from the 7100 block of Whitetail Cove, Birmingham.

–Theft of property first degree from the 1200 block of Lee Branch Lane, Birmingham.

–Theft of property third degree from the 2400 block of Forest Lakes Lane, Sterrett. 14 miscellaneous knives valued at $860, a Stanley tool bag with miscellaneous tools valued at $100 and a Victorinox money clip valued at $30 were stolen.

 

April 23

–Domestic investigation from the 10000 block of Shelby County 55, Sterrett.

–Domestic violence-harassment from the 100 block of Forest Road, Sterrett.

–Identity theft from the 200 block of Lime Creek Lane, Chelsea.
