Dr. James Nelson Green, age 86, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 30.

The visitation will be from noon – 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 3 at South Shelby Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m., at the church with Rev. David Warren officiating. Burial will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing.
