Beadapalooza returning to Helena in August

HELENA – What has become an annual event in Helena bringing one-of-a-kind beads from around the world, classes, vendors and more will return to the Helena Sports Complex the weekend of Aug. 17.

Beadapalooza hosted by The Bead Biz in Helena will return on Saturday, Aug. 17 and Sunday, Aug. 18 featuring beads, gemstones and beading supplies from all over the world from a wide variety of vendors.

Admission to Beadapalooza is free as the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 17 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 18.

Beadapalooza will feature gemstones strands, Czech glass, metal, shell and wood from various countries around the globe, an array of bead artisans, opportunities to network and share with other jewelry designers from the Birmingham area and more.

For those wishing to sign up for classes, a variety of classes are available ranging from $15 to $55 each per class. Anyone that signs up for a class will also be eligible for an early bird shopping opportunity happening from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16. The various classes take place throughout the day Aug. 17-18 to offer something for everyone.

To enhance the shopping experience, tribal belly dancers will perform at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 17 where there will also be line dancing demonstrations on Sunday afternoon. The first 50 shoppers who spend $20 or more on Aug. 17 will also receive a free goodie swag bag.
