Pelham Police seeking suspect in connection with armed robbery

PELHAM – The Pelham Police Department is seeking the identity of an individual who is wanted for questioning in an alleged armed robbery that occurred at Walgreens Pharmacy on Alabama 261 in Pelham the night of Wednesday, Sept. 11.

According to the Pelham Police Department, the suspect walked into the pharmacy just after 9 p.m., handed a list of narcotics to an employee behind the counter and showed a weapon. The suspect left when his demands were met, but his direction of travel was unknown.

The suspect appears to be wearing a red button-down shirt and tie and the types of narcotics and the amounts stolen are still being determined, according to PPD.
