By GRAHAM BROOKS / Staff Writer

HELENA – A local gospel singer, author and regular in the Shelby County area will be hosting a book signing event on Oct. 26, that is open to the public.

Sanchez Tanniehill, who has overcome a number of different challenges in his life, chronicles his story in his book “God Did It,” where his goal is to share his story with others in the hope it would serve as an inspiration for those facing hardship.

Tanniehill shares his story of God’s faithfulness. At just six weeks old, doctors said he would never have the ability to walk or talk, but despite the odds, Tanniehill overcame the challenges and continues to share that story.

Tanniehill’s book signing will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Jane B. Holmes Public Library in Helena from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
