PELHAM – The countdown to Christmas is on and a free event where children and parents can visit with Santa Claus himself will be happening the first Saturday in December in Pelham.

The Foundry Thrift Store in Pelham will be hosting the Santa Claus visit on Saturday, Dec. 7, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Guests are invited to attend the free community event where they will have their picture taken with Santa and also receive a magnet picture frame, a candy cane and a small toy.

The Foundry Thrift Store in Pelham is located at 3592 Pelham Parkway. In addition to Pelham, The Foundry stores in Fairfield and Cullman will also be hosting free visit from Santa events.

The Foundry Ministries focuses on addiction recovery and rescue services. The organization helps those within their doors recover from their addictions and rebuild their lives through Christ. The Foundry also helps those in the community in need of food, medical care and other necessities. Through these services, The Foundry Ministries serves as a hallmark for reshaping lives by the hands of God.
