HELENA – Christmas is about a week away, and before Santa visits houses in Helena on Christmas morning, he will make his rounds and visit various stops in the city atop one of the Helena Fire Department fire engines on Christmas Eve.

Santa will begin his routes on Tuesday, Dec. 24 starting at 2 p.m. where he will make his way to most every major street in Helena.

“Due to Santa’s busy schedule, he will not be able to go on every street. He will be on a major roadway in every part of the city,” a post from HFD read. “Listen for the siren that lets you know he is near.”
