Pelham PD mourning the death of Officer Chuck Bradley
PELHAM – The Pelham Police Department announced in a press release on Thursday, Feb. 13, that one of their own died on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
“It is with heavy hearts that we must inform you that we’ve lost one of our own,” the release reads. “Pelham Police Officer Chuck Bradley died Wednesday at the age of 44.”
Bradley was a 14-year veteran of the Pelham Police Department, but his law enforcement career spanned 20 years. The cause of death is undetermined, as the department is awaiting final autopsy results.
“We are heartbroken,” said Police Chief Pat Cheatwood. “Officer Bradley was a part of our family, and he will be greatly missed. We ask that you pray for his family and all of his family here at Pelham PD in the days, weeks, months and years to come.”
Funeral arrangements are not yet finalized.
