PELHAM – PrintsWell Inc., a Pelham based stationary and printing company, is currently underway with an expansion project that will increase the company’s reach and add new jobs.
The company has already broken ground on the project which will add a new building in downtown Pelham, and will create several new jobs in the area.
According to CEO Ralph Dewberry, the development will be an entirely new building. The building will be a new space for the company allowing for room for all of the new employees, machinery and business needs for the company. It will be located on approximately 11 acres of land near Walmart and Edgar’s Bakery.
“We have outgrown our building and needed to add new machinery,” Dewberry said. “We don’t have enough room here to store paper, we don’t have enough room to bring in new people and we don’t have enough room for parking for all of our employees.”
The goal of this move is to create a space that will allow PrintsWell to expand their business to new customers, start manufacturing new products and several jobs to their company.
PrintsWell chose not to do a groundbreaking ceremony, but is planning on holding a grand opening when the project is completed. Newberry estimated that the project would be completed by the end of the year or the beginning of next year.
PrintsWell has been in the area since 1990, and the expansion will give them an opportunity to better provide printing and stationery services to the city of Pelham and the surrounding areas.
According to the company’s website their goal is to maintain “a reputation for unparalleled quality, friendly and knowledgeable customer service and a passion for paper.”
