Name: Harrison Jackson
School: Calera High School
Grade: 12th
What’s your favorite subject in school? AP biology is my favorite subject.
What school groups are you involved in? I am involved in SGA, Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish Club, Scholars Bowl and Art Honor Society.
What community groups are you involved in? I volunteer at Prince of Peace’s Sunday School and volunteer at Miracle League occasionally.
Who is your favorite teacher? My favorite teacher is Mrs. Waldrip.
What are your hobbies? I frequently run, watch ESPN, play video games, and maybe this isn’t a hobby to most people but I work at the UPS Store.
If you could donate $100 to a charity, which one would you choose? I would donate $100 to Kid One Transport, a non-profit organization that transports impoverished children to the doctor so they can receive lifesaving care. This non-profit was founded by my father, Russell Jackson.
What do you want to be when you grow up? I aspire to be a world-renowned neurosurgeon.
