FROM STAFF REPORTS
STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State’s Department of Art is continuing its celebration of graduating seniors with the launch of “Escapade,” an online exhibition of painting, ceramics, furniture, mixed media and more.
Among those who participated was Alexandra S. “Alex” Ladewig of Pelham.
The virtual display represents the culmination of academic and studio work for 14 students earning Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from the state’s largest undergraduate studio art program. The department typically honors graduating fine arts seniors with a campus exhibition but has adapted these plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Student exhibitors used a variety of media in their pieces to showcase creative concepts at this momentous point in their artistic lives. To view their work, visit Caad.msstate.edu/exhibitions/2020/escapade-fine-art-thesis-exhibition-spring-2020.
