CALERA – Calera residents will soon have a new stop for morning coffee when 7 Brew opens later this year.

7 Brew is a drive-thru coffee stand brand that proudly offers over 20,000 drink combinations. Unlike most other locations, whose construction entails a month’s long construction process, the mostly completed building was literally lowered into place via crane on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

Although construction of the lot and property is still underway, the building structure itself was partially prefabricated and assembled onsite, which created the appearance of rapid progress for those who frequent and pass by the area.

A relatively recent success story, 7 Brew opened its first location in 2017 and began its expansion at the beginning of 2020 after coming under new ownership. Still on the rise, the company now features more than 140 active locations with Calera’s location set to become the seventh in Alabama alone.

Located at 760 Supercenter Drive, the new location is expected to create an additional 50 new jobs to the Calera area and will serve the community as a new venue, business and participant of the community.
