ALABASTER – Residents will have the opportunity to shop from a variety of local vendors during this year’s fall citywide yard sale in Alabaster.

Alabaster’s fall citywide yard sale will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4 in the green space behind Alabaster City Hall from 8 a.m. to noon.

“Our spring and fall citywide yard sale events are some of the most popular events our Parks and Recreation Department organizes each year, and we’re excited to welcome vendors and shoppers from across the area on Nov. 4,” said Neal Wagner, public relations manager for the city of Alabaster.

During the citywide yard sale, there will be booths filled with a variety of merchandise.

“This is a great way to get some awesome deals while meeting your neighbors and enjoying the great fall weather,” Wagner said. “Thanks to everyone who helps make this event possible, especially our Special Events Manager Morgan Lawley.”

The city still has a few spots available for the fall cityward yard sale. The cost is $10 per 20×20 booth and those interested may reach out to the Alabaster Parks and Recreation office at 205-664-6840.

“The Alabaster citywide yard sale is an event that brings out a lot of the citizens of Alabaster,” Lawley said. “It’s a great place to meet new friends and clean out from around the house. We will have a local charity to pick up anything you would like to donate once the event is over. You never know what you may find at the citywide yard sale.”

Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs and canopies. A charity organization will be on site around noon during the event for vendors who wish to donate any unsold merchandise instead of taking it back home.

In case of inclement weather, a rain-out date for the event has been set for Saturday, Nov. 11.
