Shelby – Local residents in Shelby will have the opportunity to shop for and feature their own handcrafted and selected merchandise at the inaugural Shelby Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 9.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department Station 1 located at 4895 Highway 47 Shelby, AL 35143. All proceeds raised by the event will go toward the support of the fire department and to a local family in need for the Christmas holiday.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet and have their pictures taken with Santa Claus while he makes an appearance from noon to 2 p.m.

Those who wish to have their own booth or to feature their own merchandise will need fill out an application with the fire department no later than Dec. 1. Booth rentals are $20 each, with payments accepted in cash, check, money order, Venmo or Cash App and will have a limit of only one company per booth.
