ALABASTER – Local residents now have a new place to shop for women’s clothing after the opening of The Clotherie in Alabaster.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of The Clotherie in Alabaster,” said Rachel Hoagland, co-owner of The Clotherie. “Our goal is to provide our customers with high-quality clothing that is both stylish and affordable.”

The Clotherie opened its doors during Black Friday on Nov. 24 and is located at 300 Colonial Promenade Parkway Suite 2000 next to Bath & Body Works.

“Black Friday was crazy busy and since then we’ve slowed down a little bit,” Hoagland said. “It’s been pretty steady, we’ve had some really good positive feedback from everybody. We’ve actually had some customers even return to buy more. We love the community—everybody is super nice and supportive.”

The Clotherie offers a variety of styles of women’s clothing, including dresses, tops, pants and accessories with casual and formal styles that cater to women of all ages and sizes.

According to the business’s website, its mission is to empower people to express their personal styles through affordable and fashionable clothing options. The Clotherie strives to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and inspired to explore new trends and find their perfect look.

The Clotherie is also currently working on also opening an online store for its website.

“We’re going to have everything online that’s for sale in the store,” Hoagland said.

The Clotherie will hold a special grand opening event on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. that will feature special discounts, giveaways and refreshments.

“We’re just very excited for it,” Hoagland said. “Tell everybody to bring their family, friends (and) whoever (to) come shop with us.”
