CALERA – On Monday, July 17, Robin Lane Myers was arrested on charges of third-degree assault and has now been readmitted to jail for parole violations.

Myers, 52, was initially arrested back in July by State Trooper Scott Berrett after “recklessly causing physical injury to another person,” according to court documents. She was then charged with the following:

-Driving under the influence.

-driving with a suspended license.

-failing to produce insurance upon the request of law enforcement.

-third-degree assault.

This is not the first time Myers has faced such charges, as court records indicate that she has been arrested for driving with a suspended license, driving under the influence and open container violations multiple times since 2001.

However, records do indicate that this is the first time Myers has been charged with assault.

In July, Myers pleaded ‘not guilty’ to all charges and went on bail contingent on her attending all subsequent court dates. She has since violated her parole and is now being held at the County jail with a total bond of $101,000.

A status hearing for Myers’ case is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan 22, at Shelby County court.
