The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from Nov. 23-29:

 

Nov. 23

-Theft of property third degree from the 100 block of Quail Run Circle, Wilsonville. A coffin wallet, $50, Social Security card, six credit cards and an ID card were stolen.

-Attempting to elude law enforcement officer from Pumpkin Swamp Cove and Shelby County 32, Columbiana.

-Attempted burglary from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

-Drug paraphernalia from the 42000 block of Alabama 25, Vincent. A marijuana grinder and a pack of joint wraps were confiscated.

-Domestic violence-harassment, harassing communications from the 300 block of Holcombe Lane, Columbiana.

-Theft of property from the 8000 block of Shelby County 62, Vincent. A 2016 GMC Terrain was stolen.

-Criminal mischief from the 900 block of Eagle Ridge Drive, Birmingham.

-Burglary first degree (two counts) from the 3400 block of Shelby County 37, Shelby. A $10 bill, green diamond chain valued at $100 and a small brown jewelry box were stolen.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 5500 block of Heatherbrooke Parkway, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence second degree-burglary from the 5500 block of Heatherbrooke Parkway, Birmingham. Marijuana (1.3 grams) and a plastic grinder with residue were confiscated.

Nov. 24

-Miscellaneous incident from Alabama 119 at Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham. A 2023 GMC Acadia was damaged.

-Property damage from the 5100 block of Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham. A 2021 Toyota Camry was damaged.

-Incident from the 3400 block of Shelby County 37, Shelby.

-Incident from the 27000 block of Crestline Road, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence-harassment, burglary from the 70 block of Grant Street, Montevallo. A Verizon smartphone valued at $250 was stolen.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 45000 block of Alabama 25, Vincent.

-Theft of power/electricity from the 500 block of Shelby County 46, Lot 7, Shelby.

-Burglary third degree from the 7300 block of Shelby County 61, Wilsonville. A 55” TV and two Generac generators were stolen.

-Attempt to elude, resisting arrest from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. Marijuana (3.7 grams) was confiscated.

Nov. 25

-Burglary, theft of property from the 700 block of Valleydale Road, Vincent. A crossbow valued at $350, Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun valued at $1,000, a Remington 742 rifle 30/06 valued at $1,000 and two Arrowhead display cases with arrowhead collection valued at $2,000 were stolen.

-Theft of property from the 900 block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham. A 2010 Kia Forte valued at $8,000 was stolen.

-Found property from the 300 block of Saddle Ridge Drive, Columbiana. A LUCAS 3 compression machine valued at $20,000 was recovered.

-Burglary, theft of property from the 5200 block of Chelsea Road, Columbiana. A Samsung LCD TV valued at $250, standing jewelry box full of Mark Kay necklaces, rings and bracelets valued at $500, a Miller stick welder valued at $1,000, Lincoln MIG welder valued at $1,200, 15 fishing rods and reels valued at $200 and a 4×10’ red utility trailer valued at $800 were stolen.

-Retail theft third degree from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. Retail merchandise valued at $423.95 was stolen.

-Domestic investigation from the 3200 block of Mountain Ridge Circle, Birmingham.

-Leaving the scene of an accident from the 6900 block of Shelby County 51, Westover. A 2016 Audi A6 2.0 was damaged.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Shelby County 470, Leeds.

-Domestic investigation from the 1800 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham.

Nov. 26

-DUI-alcohol from Shelby County 17 and Mary Lane, Montevallo.

-DUI-alcohol from Cahaba Valley Road South in the turn lane to U.S. 280 East. A small metal grinder with suspected marijuana residue was damaged/destroyed.

-Property damage from the 246-mile marker of I-65 North, Pelham. Two front tires valued at $500 were damaged.

-Incident from U.S. 280 in the area of Eagle Point.

-Incident from AL-Youth Drive West, Sterrett.

-Death investigation from the 6200 block of Farley Lane, Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 500 block of Chelsea Crossroads, Chelsea. A total of two and a half round, yellow pills stamped “MP 447” (Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine) were recovered.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 19500 block of Alabama 145, Shelby. Marijuana (approximately 3.2 grams) was confiscated.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, open container from U.S. 280 and Highland Lakes, Birmingham. Marijuana (.1 gram) was recovered.

-Promoting prison contraband from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. A white crystalline substance believed to be meth (approximately 39.51 grams) was confiscated.

Nov. 27

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (two counts) from Grandview Parkway and U.S. 280, Birmingham. Methamphetamine (.3 gram), Fentanyl (.3 gram), a glass pipe with burnt residue and a digital scale with residue were recovered.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia from the parking lot of Publix, 500 block of Chelsea Crossroads, Chelsea. Two half gallon-sized plastic bags with marijuana residue, a napkin with marijuana residue and a Cigarillo stuffed with marijuana were confiscated; a camouflage backpack was recovered.

-Violation of a domestic violence protection order from the 100 block of Katy Circle, Birmingham.

-Theft of property, fraudulent use of a credit card from the 7000 block of Meadowlark Drive, Birmingham. A Capital One credit card was counterfeited.

-Drug paraphernalia from the 500 block of Shelby County 406, Shelby. A small plastic baggie with white residue, used syringe with residue and a bottle cap and socket with marijuana residue were confiscated.

-Theft of property third degree from the 200 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham. A total of $620 was stolen through Apple Pay.

-Incident from the 100 block of Monte Bello Lane, Montevallo.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 200 block of Hollybrook Road, Columbiana.

-Harassing communications from the 200 block of Retreat Drive, Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 90 block of Shaw Ridge, Chelsea.

-Domestic investigation from the 3000 block of Shelby County 45, Sterrett.

-Harassing communications from the 1400 block of Inverness Landing, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 100 block of Mimosa Road, Leeds.

-Harassing communications from the 1200 block of Shelby County 277, Helena.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 70 block of Grant Street, Wilton.

-Harassment from the 3000 block of Dundee Lane, Birmingham.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card fourth degree from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. A Citibank credit card was stolen.

-Domestic investigation from the 2400 block of Shelby County 47, Shelby.

Nov. 28

-Incident from the 500 block of Old Highway 25, Columbiana. A 2013 Dodge Ram was damaged.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 4700 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. Half of an orange 30mg Adderall (Amphetamine) pill with “C” on one side and “B 97” on the other side, rolled marijuana cigarette with the red words “RAW” and a partially broken, brown glass pipe used for smoking marijuana with marijuana residue were confiscated.

-Drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended from the 5200 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. A total of 13 used syringes, two spoons with residue and two baggies with folded baggies with residue were recovered.

-Harassment from the 4100 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (two counts) from Alabama 25 at Klein Road, Harpersville. Hydrocodone (approximately 10.8 grams), THC gummies (39 grams), meth (7.34 grams), mushrooms (3.5 grams), Tramadol (1.3 grams) and suspected Alprazolam (1.8 grams) were confiscated. All weights are approximate.

-Criminal mischief from the 1100 block of U.S. 231, Vincent. A plastic mailbox sustained $150 in damages.

-Harassment from the 400 block of Shelby County 62, Harpersville.

-Harassing communications from the 800 block of Griffin Park, Birmingham.

-Civil dispute from the 100 block of Katy Circle, Birmingham.

-Assault third degree from the 100 block of Twilight Way, Leeds. Several photos of injuries emailed for evidence were confiscated.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from Shelby County 251 and Slab Road, Montevallo.

-Identity theft, criminal impersonation from the 3300 block of North Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 100 block of Shelby County 200, Montevallo.

-Domestic violence third degree-assault from the 2800 block of Shelby County 93, Helena.

-Drug paraphernalia from the 2800 block of Shelby County 93, Helena. A small black pipe with marijuana residue was confiscated.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Twilight Way, Leeds. Klonopin (19 count) was stolen.

Nov. 29

-Property damage, welfare check from the 4100 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham. A bathroom toilet, floor, walls and ceiling were damaged.

-Burglary, criminal mischief from the 300 block of Shelby County 17, Montevallo. Seven assorted Invicta watches valued at $2,500, Nike Jordans blue shoes valued at $200, Nike Blazer and mid 77’s shoes valued at $100 were stolen. A glass window sustained $200 in damages, and siding sustained $100 in damages.

Property damage from the 5000 block of Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham. A Subaru Ascent Limited was damaged.

-Miscellaneous information from the 500 block of Four Wing Lake Drive, Alabaster.

-Criminal mischief from the 100 block of Indian Gate Circle, Birmingham. A broken window on the backside of the residence on the second floor sustained $500 in damages.

-Civil dispute from the 200 block of Hawthorne Street, Birmingham.

-Property damage from the 25000 block of Alabama 145, Columbiana. A store sign sustained $1,500 in damages.

-Theft of property from the 500 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham. A Toshiba microwave air fryer valued at $187.09 was stolen.

-Incident from an unknown location.

-Domestic violence from the 100 block of College Street, Vincent.

-Theft of property from the 400 block of Shelby County 302, Shelby.  A Black Max 16” chainsaw valued at $150 and a green 16” Poulan chainsaw valued at $150 were stolen.

-Promoting prison contraband from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. A sealed manila envelope that contains white residue was confiscated. Scale inoperable; DTF notified.

-Fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement officer, resisting arrest from the 100 block of Shelby County 204, Montevallo.
