The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from Dec. 7-13:

 

Dec. 7

-DUI-alcohol, interlock ignition device violation from the 800 block of Morning Sun Drive, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence second degree-assault, domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 100 block of El Camino Real, Chelsea.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 500 block of Main Street, Montevallo. A plastic container with a white crystal substance was recovered.

-DUI-private property from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. Two orange pills with “U30” were confiscated.

-Domestic investigation from the 0 block of Smith Road, Chelsea.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. Multiple makes, models, types and calibers (more than 50 firearms total) were confiscated.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 3800 block of Shelby County 10, Montevallo. A residence and a chain link fence were damaged, with the latter amounting to $300 in damages.

-Domestic violence third degree-assault from Dogwood Circle, Birmingham.

-Theft of property from the 300 block of Shelby County 466, Vincent. Assorted U.S. currency totaling $400 was stolen.

-Incident from the 500 block of Miller Circle, Pelham. A total of 20 chickens and two ducks were damaged.

-Stolen vehicle recovery from the 400 block of Shelby County 478, Leeds. A 2014 Ford Fusion was recovered.

-Domestic violence-criminal mischief, interference with a domestic violence emergency call from the 3000 block of Shelby County 22, Montevallo. An iPhone was damaged.

-Incident from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana.

-Domestic violence-criminal mischief, domestic violence third degree-assault from the 3000 block of Shelby County 22, Montevallo. A window screen was damaged.

Dec. 8

-Disorderly conduct from the 100 block of Lovely Lane, Harpersville.

-Property damage-automotive from the 6000 block of Forest Lakes CV, Sterrett. A 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup sustained $1,500 in damages, and a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz pickup sustained $100 in damages.

-Identity theft from the 5000 block of Pineywood Road, Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 10000 block of Shelby County 55, Westover.

-Incident from the 15000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

-Death investigation from the 0 block of Dusty Way, Harpersville.

-Theft of property from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. A Cyberpower PC valued at $699, HP computer monitor valued at $209 and four toddler toys valued at $99.88 were recovered. A PlayStation 5 gaming system valued at $499.99 was stolen.

-Incident from the 2100 block of Smith Drive, Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession or receipt of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana from the 11000 block of Shelby County 17, Montevallo. A white powdery substance believed to be cocaine (2.3 grams) and a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana (1.2 grams) were confiscated.

-Assault from Pool Road, Columbiana.

-Cruelty to animals from the 2000 block of Park Springs Lane, Chelsea. Two adult French bulldogs, two French bulldog puppies and a German Shepherd were confiscated.

Dec. 9

-Tampering with physical evidence from the 2000 block of Park Springs Lane, Chelsea. Two adult French bulldogs, two French bulldog puppies and a German Shepherd were confiscated.

-Theft of property from the 400 block of Green Glade Road, Birmingham. A battery-powered Stihl chainsaw valued at $400 and a book of original Pokemon cards (collectible with between 100-150 cards) valued at $1,000 were stolen.

-Incident from the 500 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham.

-Criminal trespass from the 3000 block of North Broken Bow Drive, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 2500 block of Magnolia Place, Birmingham. A Taurus PT-745 .380 ACP firearm valued at $345 was stolen.

-Incident from the 1000 block of Greymoor Road, Shoal Creek.

-Theft of property from the 2600 block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham. Two Green Dot cards each valued at $500 were stolen.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassing communications from the 14700 block of Shelby County 42, Shelby.

-Harassing communications from the 14700 block of Shelby County 42, Shelby.

-Fire investigation from the 15000 block of Shelby County 43, Vandiver.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 100 block of Old Magnolia Way, Wilsonville. Meth (3.8 grams), green marijuana (5 grams) and rolling papers were recovered.

-Discharging firearm into an occupied dwelling from the 1000 block of Warrington Circle, Birmingham.

Dec. 10

-Criminal mischief from the 3100 block of Buck Horn Cove, Birmingham. A door and door frame were damaged.

-Domestic violence-strangulation from the 5000 block of Shelby County 28, Columbiana.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 2300 block of Springfield Loop West, Birmingham.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle, theft of property second degree from the 900 block of Valley View Road, Indian Springs Village. A Heckler & Koch VP9 9-millimeter pistol valued at $400 was stolen.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 100 block of Polo Fieldway, Chelsea. A Smith & Wesson P22 was stolen.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 100 block of Polo Fieldway, Chelsea. A tool bag was stolen.

-Chemical endangerment of a child from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana.

-Incident from the 5000 block of Apache Circle, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 10000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea.

-Incident from Brown Street, Wilton.

-Harassment from the 200 block of Shelby County 466, Vincent.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle, theft of property fourth degree from the 1000 block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham. An Apple Watch SE with a silicone band valued at $300 was stolen.

Dec. 11

-Domestic investigation from the 40 block of Lilly Drive, Sterrett.

-Property damage from the 200 block of Horseback Trail, Shelby. A metal fence, wood post and metal cattle gate were damaged.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

-Criminal mischief from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. A window was damaged.

-Identity theft from the 5000 block of Heath Row Drive, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 4000 block of Hawthorne Place, Chelsea.

-Identity theft from the 1000 block of Glendale Drive, Birmingham.

-Suicidal ideation from Paradise Circle, Shelby.

-Incident from the 5200 block of Apache Circle, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 7000 block of Meadowlark Drive, Birmingham.

-Harassment from the 400 block of Kinnebrew Drive, Chelsea.

-Assault from the 200 block of Shelby County 466, Vincent.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle, theft of property second degree from the 33700 block of Alabama 25, Wilsonville. A Smith & Wesson 340PD, .357 valued at $1,000 was stolen.

-Domestic investigation from the 3300 block of Altadena Rise, Birmingham.

Dec. 12

-Incident from the 1200 block of Shelby County 277, Helena.

-Death investigation from the 18000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. A 2012 Ford F-150 was recovered.

-Incident from Shelby County 42 and Alabama 145, Shelby. A Glock 19x, 9-millimeter firearm and an American Tactical .556 firearm were confiscated.

-Domestic investigation from the 0 block of Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 100 block of Christy Drive, Shelby.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 100 block of Christy Drive, Shelby.

-Domestic violence by strangulation from the 100 block of Christy Drive, Shelby.

-Theft of property second degree, theft of property third degree from the 100 block of Christy Drive, Shelby. A .25-caliber handgun (value unknown) and an iPhone 14 Pro Max valued at $1,050 were stolen; two Rubbermaid containers valued at $10 were damaged.

-Theft of property first degree, home repair fraud from the 1000 block of Copena Drive, Pelham.

-Drug paraphernalia from the 3400 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana. Two plastic bottle caps with a socket and spice residue were confiscated.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 3400 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana. A clear plastic bag containing spice (approximately 1.22 grams) and two plastic bottle caps with a socket and spice residue were confiscated.

-Missing person from the 33000 block of Alabama 25, Harpersville.

-Animal bite from the 100 block of Brush Creek Farms, Columbiana.

-Permitting dogs to run at large from Morris Estates Drive, Columbiana.

-Burglary third degree, theft of property first degree from the 250 block of Wallace Drive, Shelby. A pressure washer valued at $900, generator valued at $5,000, multiple power tools valued at $3,000, propane bottle valued at $90, two gold chains valued at $3,500 and a ring valued at $4,500 were stolen.

Dec. 13

-Promoting prison contraband, drug paraphernalia from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. A glass pipe with burn marks and meth residue, and one baggie containing meth (1.5 grams) were recovered.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, drug paraphernalia from U.S. 280 East at Chelsea Park Drive, Chelsea. Marijuana (2.5 grams) and a marijuana grinder were recovered.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from Alabama 25 and Klein Road, Wilsonville. Marijuana (approximately 8 grams) was confiscated.

-Promoting prison contraband from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana. Marijuana in a plastic bag (1.5 grams) was confiscated.

-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Regent Park Drive, Birmingham. A total of $497.95 was stolen.

-Incident from the 6000 block of Eagle Point Circle, Birmingham. A Ford Escape was damaged in the amount of $6,000.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Highland View Drive, Birmingham. A Yamaha C7 piano with black wood valued at $17,335 was stolen.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Hodgens Road, Chelsea.

-Fire investigation from the 7200 block of Whitetail Drive, Birmingham. A trash compactor was damaged.
