HELENA – Announced earlier this month, Helena Hollow is currently in the midst of preparations for their new Music on the Water concert event, which is being presented in partnership with Nashville’s Backyard Music Company.

The event, which seeks to bring the music of Nashville straight to Helena Hollow, is currently set to take the stage on Saturday, March 2 at 5 p.m. with tickets already on sale for $20 per person. The event will be held at the Helena Hollow Marina at 6027 Highway 17 in Helena.

“The Hollow is thrilled to partner with Nashville’s Backyard Music Company to bring the music scene to the Marina,” read a post to the event’s Facebook page organized by Helena Hollow. “The goal of the Backyard Music Company is to bring a ‘Bluebird Café’ feel (to) their customers, (and) to create an intimate experience between artist and listeners.”

The Bluebird Café, is one of the music industry’s most prolific listening rooms that has garnered a worldwide reputation as a space where new up-and-coming songwriters are free to perform their own songs. Among the list of celebrity’s who have appeared at the Bluebird Café over its more than 40-year history are the likes of Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum and Taylor Swift.

Music on the Water will seek to recreate that experience by fostering a connection between the audience and the performers.

“(The audience will) experience the magic of our intimate ‘backyard’ concert as our talented songwriters take the stage in a Nashville-style writers’ round to share their original tunes and the captivating stories that inspired them,” read the event description from Backyard Music Company, “This is your chance to immerse yourself in the heart and soul of music, all within the cozy and relaxed ambiance of a beautiful outdoor setting.”

Although the event is currently scheduled to take place at the marina’s outdoor facilities, and guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the winter weather, there are contingency plans already in place to host the event indoors should weather conditions require the change. Should any inclement weather occur, the concert will be moved to Helena Hollow’s “Party Barn.”

If all goes to plan, guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets and beverages to sit by the venues fire pits which will all be in use during the concert experience.

Tickets are currently on sale for the event and can be purchased at Backyardmusiccompany.com/events/a-nashville-night-at-helena-hollow.
