Calera special education teacher arrested for alleged drug possession

ALABASTER – Kyle Vincent, 46, of Alabaster is now out of jail on bond after being arrested for the alleged possession of multiple controlled substances.

Vincent was arrested by the Pelham Police Department on March 17 at 7:14 p.m. for four counts of possession or receipt of controlled substances with a total bond of $20,000.

According to court documents, Vincent was arrested for the following alleged offenses:

  • Unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the form of Adderall
  • Unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the form of Lortab
  • Unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the form of Psilocybin
  • Unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the form of Ecstasy

Vincent was a special education teacher at Calera Middle School before his arrest and a representative of Shelby County Schools confirmed that Vincent is on leave.
