ALABASTER – The city of Alabaster is set to receive a new Taco Bell and 7 Brew on Highway 119 later this year.

A Taco Bell and 7 Brew are currently set to be constructed in between O’Reilly Auto Parts and Fast Pace Urgent Care on Hwy 119. Construction on the Taco Bell is set to begin sometime this week with plans to open summer 2024. The adjacent 7 Brew is planned to begin development in the coming months.

“We’ve had some outstanding economic development news in Alabaster over the last few weeks, and we’re so excited to see these investments in our community,” said Neal Wagner, public relations manager for the city of Alabaster. “We’ve heard a lot of demand from residents for more dining options on the Highway 119 corridor, so this will help continue the growth in that area.”

The upcoming 7 Brew in Alabaster marks the second location to come to Shelby County after a Calera location opened on Nov. 27, 2023.

Gaining its namesake from its original lineup of seven coffees, 7 Brew is a drive-thru coffee stand brand that offers more than 20,000 drink combinations. The first location in Rogers, Arizona opened in 2017 and the business began its expansion at the beginning of 2020 after coming under new ownership.

“7 Brew is so much more than just a coffee stand,” read an official post on the business’s website. “It’s the concept of cultivating kindness and joy with every drink—through our service, speed, quality, energy and atmosphere. It’s contagious and it’s changing the drive-thru coffee industry.”

In addition to its lineup of original flavors—blondie, brunette, smooth 7, white chocolate mocha, cinnamon roll, German chocolate and sweet and salty—7 Brew also offers a variety of other refreshments, including energy drinks, cold brews, teas, lemonades, smoothies, shakes, flavored sparkling waters and lattes.
