The following are incident and offense reports from municipal police departments in Shelby County from March 11-17:

 

Alabaster

March 11

-Property damage from the 9900 Block of Highway 119 (convenience store). Damaged was a passenger door of a black Toyota Tundra valued at $1.

-Fraudulent use of credit/debit card from the 100 Block of White Cap Circle (residence/home). Stolen was an American Express credit/debit card valued at $0.

-Criminal mischief first degree (greater than $2,500) and criminal tampering second degree from the 1100 Block of 1st Street North (parking lot/drop lot/garage). Damaged was a wooden power pole valued at $25,000.

-Retail theft 1st degree from the 600 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (department/discount store). Stolen were 48 miscellaneous items valued at $778.43.

-FTA – theft of property 4th from the 1800 Block of 2nd Avenue North, Birmingham.

-Theft of property second from the 100 Block of Airview Lane (parking lot/drop lot/garage). Stolen was a Taurus G2 pistol valued at $1.

-Failure to comply with court order from Highway 31.

-Possession of marijuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia from the 1600 Block of Simmsville Road (parking lot/drop lot/garage). Recovered was 1.1 grams of marijuana and a gold grinder.

March 12

-Criminal mischief second degree (greater than $500 to $2,500) from the 2000 Block of Highway 87 (commercial/office building). Damaged were two vehicle parts/accessories valued at $750.

-Alias writ of arrest – FTA DWS from Highway 25 and Day Drive, Montevallo.

-Attempting to elude a police officer and reckless driving from Interstate 65 southbound at mile marker 234.5 (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk).

March 13

-Larceny/theft – theft – pickpocket, $500 or less from the 1000 Block of First Street South (convenience store). Stolen were consumable goods valued at $20.

-Possession of marijuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia from the 500 Block of 1st Avenue West (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk). Recovered was 0.4 grams of marijuana and a grinder.

March 14

-Information only from Interstate 65 North and U.S. Highway 31 (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk).

-Property damage from the 40 Block of Kent Stone Way. Damaged was a black 2018 Ford Focus.

-Larceny/theft – theft – pickpocket, $500 or less from the 200 Block of South Colonial Drive (department/discount store). Stolen was a Stanley cup valued at $45.

-Property damage from the 100 Block of Equestrian Drive (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk). Damaged was a black mailbox valued at $100.

-Domestic incident from the 800 Block of Barkley Drive.

-Alias warrant (FTA – driving while license revoked) from Interstate 459 at mile marker 20, Vestavia Hills.

March 15

-Disorderly conduct from the 1000 Block of 1st Street North (drug store/doctor’s office/hospital).

-Animal complaint from the 100 Block of Park Place Lane.

-Larceny/theft – theft – pickpocket, $500 or less from the 600 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (department/discount store). Stolen were other; miscellaneous products valued at $119.05.

-Larceny/theft – theft – pickpocket, $500 or less from the 600 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (department/discount store). Stolen was other; miscellaneous items valued at $45.95.

-Larceny/theft – theft – pickpocket, $500 or less from the 600 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (department/discount store). Stolen was other; miscellaneous items valued at $27.94.

-Larceny/theft – theft – pickpocket, $500 or less from the 600 Block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (department/discount store). Stolen and recovered was merchandise valued at $58.73.

-Driving under the influence – alcohol and possession of marijuana second degree from the 100 Block of Ashford Lane (residence/home). Recovered was 7.1 grams of marijuana.

March 16

-Driving under the influence – alcohol from Interstate 65 southbound at mile marker 239 (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk).

-Harassing communications from the 1800 Block of Woodbrook Circle (cyberspace).

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from Colonial Promenade Parkway and Highway 31 (highway/road/alley/street/sidewalk). Recovered were two glass pipes with residue and pipe with marijuana residue.

-Information only from Reese Drive and Ironwood Circle.

-Possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from the 1200 Block of Mission Hills Road (field/woods). Recovered was 0.3 grams of meth, a glass pipe and a scale.

-Theft of property (motor vehicle) from County Road 73 (other/unknown). Stolen was a 2012 Nissan Frontier valued at $5,000.

March 16
