The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from March 15-22:

 

March 15

-Miscellaneous incident from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana. An unknown substance wrapped in receipt paper was confiscated.

-Domestic violence investigation from the 10000 block of Shelby County 42, Shelby.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana from Shelby County 24 and South Main Street, Wilsonville. Marijuana (13 grams) was confiscated.

March 16

-Harassing communications from the 300 block of Morning Sun Drive, Birmingham.

-Attempted assault second degree from the 5000 block of Double Oak Lane, Birmingham.

-DUI, no plainly visible tag from the 5400 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

-Violation of court order from the 3100 block of Indian Crest Drive, Indian Springs.

-Harassing communications from the 2000 block of North Grande View Lane, Alabaster.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from Falling Rock Falls at the 1600 block of Landview Road, Montevallo. A 2019 Tesla Model 3 passenger side window was damaged.

-Theft of property from Falling Rock Falls at the 1600 block of Landview Road, Montevallo. A purse valued at $50, wallet valued at $100 and credit card valued at $1 were stolen.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 400 block of Crossbridge Road, Chelsea. $1,300 in U.S. currency was stolen.

-Incident from the 400 block of Crossbridge Road, Chelsea. $1,000 in U.S. currency was stolen.

-Incident from the 400 block of Crossbridge Road, Chelsea. $2,290 in U.S. currency was stolen.

-Probation revocation, unlawful possession of a controlled substance from Shelby County 10 and Shelby County 17, Montevallo. Meth (1.7 grams), Alprazolam and Suboxone pills (0.5 gram) and a pipe with burnt meth residue were confiscated.

-Disorderly conduct, attempting to elude from Alabama 25 and Shelby County 479, Vincent.

March 17

-DUI-alcohol, open container from the 9000 block of Alabama 119, Alabaster.

-Dog running at large from the 300 block of Inverness Landing, Birmingham.

-DUI, speeding from the 1600 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 100 block of Warrior Drive, Alabaster. What was recognized as meth (approximately 0.2 gram), one pipe with burnt meth residue and a Century Arms AK-47 were confiscated.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 100 block of Warrior Drive, Alabaster. What was recognized as meth (approximately 0.2 gram), one pipe with burnt meth residue, cotton saturated with methamphetamine solution, three baggies with meth residue and a used needle were confiscated.

-Incident from Shelby County 43 and Season Road, Sterrett.

-Death investigation from the 2800 block of Indian Shoals Road, Wilsonville. A total of 13 hydrocodone pills were damaged/destroyed.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 5400 block of Heatherbrooke Parkway, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 2000 block of Wilmington Place, Birmingham. A pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana and a canister containing marijuana shake were confiscated.

-Agency assist from the 2000 block of Old Hickory Trail, Birmingham.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Franks Acres, Vandiver.

-Domestic investigation from the 1000 block of Fairbank Lane, Chelsea.

March 18

-Incident from the 11900 block of Bear Creek Road, Vandiver. A 2004 Ford F-150 was recovered.

-Domestic investigation from the 2000 block of Wilmington Place, Birmingham.

-Criminal mischief third degree from the 100 block of Hollybrook Road, Columbiana. A mailbox sustained $100 in damages.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 16800 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. A white powdery substance thought to be cocaine (.1 gram) was confiscated.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Wild Berry Drive, Westover. A 2012 Ford F-150 was stolen.

-Identity theft from the 200 block of Murray Drive, Montevallo.

-Identity theft from the 100 block of Sunrise Circle, Wilsonville.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia from the 2000 block of Wilmington Place, Birmingham. Marijuana in small plastic baggies (three count, weighing 12 grams), a wooden box containing a pipe and drug residue, a green and black pipe with drug residue and a grinder with drug residue were confiscated.

-Property damage from U.S. 280 and Shelby County 443, Birmingham. A 2014 Toyota Tacoma was damaged.

-Property damage from U.S. 280 and Shelby County 443, Birmingham. A 2023 Ford F-150 was damaged.

-Property damage from U.S. 280 and Shelby County 443, Birmingham. A 2023 Nissan Rogue was damaged.

-Incident from Hugh Daniel Drive and Farmhouse Road, Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from U.S. 280 West and Farmingdale Road, Harpersville. Marijuana in two separate plastic bags (17 grams) was confiscated.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from Alabama 261 and Edwards Drive, Helena. A white rocky substance presumed to be crack cocaine (0.6 gram) and a clear glass crack pipe were confiscated.

March 19

-Drug paraphernalia, inoperable brake lights from U.S. 280 and Cahaba River Road, Birmingham. A grinder with residue and a blue straw with white residue were confiscated.

-Drug paraphernalia from U.S. 280 and Cahaba River Road, Birmingham. A digital scale with residue was confiscated.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, drug paraphernalia from the 12000 block of Shelby County 17, Montevallo. A green leafy substance believed to be marijuana (approximately 10 grams) and a pipe with residue were confiscated.

-Child in need of supervision from the 100 block of Cove Road, Wilsonville.

-Harassment from the 42500 block of Alabama 25, Vincent.

-Theft of property, fraudulent use of a credit or debit card from the 1000 block of Inverness Cove Way, Hoover. Approximately $56,545.83 was stolen.

-Incident from the 5600 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham. A bus seat was damaged.

-Incident from the 15500 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea. Vyvanse (Lisdexamfetamine) (three count, 40 milligram prescription, controlled substance, ADHD medication) was reported.

-Incident from the 2000 block of Spring Creek Road, Montevallo. A Glock 32 .357 was confiscated.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (two counts) from the 2200 block of Pelham Parkway, Pelham. A plastic bag containing crystal meth (20.6 grams), Suboxone Buprenorphine and Naloxone sublingual film (one count, 8 milligrams/2 milligrams), Buprenorphine Hydrochloride and Naloxone Hydrochloride (1.5 count, 8 milligrams/2 milligrams) and a glass meth pipe containing crystal meth were confiscated.

-Identity theft from the 5000 block of Eagle Crest Road, Birmingham.

March 20

-Domestic violence-harassment from Shelby County 22 and Shelby County 221 to Hyde Drive, Montevallo.

-Harassing communications from the 5200 block of Woodford Drive, Birmingham.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle, theft of property from the 3000 block of Brook Highland Parkway, Birmingham. Two Stihl BR700s valued at $590 each were stolen.

-Identity theft from the 1500 block of Wingfield Court, Birmingham.

-Identity theft from the 300 block of Polo Court, Chelsea. American Airlines travel points valued at $3,600 were stolen.

-Identity theft from the 1500 block of Bent River Circle, Vestavia Hills.

-Incident from the 10 block of Brush Creek Farm, Columbiana.

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 400 block of Depot Street, Wilton. Three large pizzas valued at $50.88 and a 2-liter soda valued at $9 were stolen.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 11000 block of Shelby County 11, Chelsea. A crystal-like substance presumed to be meth (0.9 gram), blue and white glass meth pipe with residue and clear glass meth pipe with residue were confiscated.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Atchison Drive, Chelsea. A floor jack valued at $299.99, two electric extension cords valued at $149.98, two Simpson 2300 PSI electric pressure washers valued at $599.89 and two Jobsmart hand tools valued at $29.99 were stolen.

-Domestic violence-strangulation from the 700 block of Shelby County 446, Columbiana.

March 21

-Incident from the 9000 block of Chelsea Park Trail, Chelsea.

-Incident from the 2900 block of Lullwater Road, Birmingham.

-Domestic violence assault first degree from the 10 block of Heritage Road, Shelby. A Central Arms .410 firearm, a spent .410 shell, BB from spent shotshell and evidence CD with photos were confiscated.

-Alteration, etc. of manufacturer’s number, etc. of firearm; possession, etc. from the 10 block of Heritage Road, Shelby. . A Central Arms .410 firearm, a spent .410 Casingh, BB from spent round and evidence CD with photos were confiscated.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance (two counts) from the 4000 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham. Meth (approximately 1 gram), a loaded syringe containing Suboxone and six miscellaneous driver’s licenses and debit/EBT cards not belonging to the subject were confiscated.

-Death investigation from the 25500 block of Alabama 145, Columbiana.

-Domestic investigation from the 2600 block of Shelby County 93, Helena.

-Harassment from Shelby County 11 near Chelsea High School.

-Incident from the 1800 block of Springfield Loop West, Birmingham.

-Civil dispute from the 9-mile marker of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 2000 block of Oak Meadows Place, Birmingham.

-Miscellaneous information from the 6200 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham.

-Theft of property from the 3900 block of Crosshaven Drive, Vestavia. Bitcoin with an equivalent value of $5,000 was stolen.

-Forgery from the 3000 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham. $4,990 was stolen from three forged checks.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Cahaba Oaks Trail, Birmingham. $13,000 in cash was stolen.

-Harassment from the 1700 block of Shelby County 467, Vincent.

-Harassing communications from the 1000 block of Fulton Lake Road, Alabaster.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 300 block of Goldilock Lane, Maylene.

-Distributing a private image from the 500 block of Park Crest Cove, Chelsea.

March 22

-Drug paraphernalia from U.S. 280 at Shelby County 41, Birmingham. A red plastic straw with white residue was confiscated.

-DUI-alcohol from U.S. 280 East and Greystone Highlands Drive, Birmingham.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana from Main Street and Vine Street, Montevallo. A blunt and a clear bag with marijuana were confiscated.

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 4500 block of Shelby County 49, Columbiana.

-Identity theft from the 400 block of Griffin Park Lane, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 5200 block of Jameswood Lane, Birmingham. A ceramic decorative tree sustained $260 in damages.

-Harassing communications from the 5300 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Autumn Drive, Vincent.

-Harassment from the 1100 block of U.S. 231, Vincent.

-Juvenile runaway from the 8100 block of Alabama 155, Montevallo.
