The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from March 2-8:

 

March 2

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 20 block of Smith Road, Chelsea.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana, certain person forbidden to possess a pistol from U.S. 280 and Alabama 25, Harpersville.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia from the 5300 block of U.S. 280, Harpersville. A sealed manila envelope containing a marijuana joint and a small baggie of marjuana (approximately 5 grams), two Mason jars with marijuana residue, a digital scale, Taurus G2C firearm, 13 9-millimeter rounds and a 9-millimeter magazine were confiscated.

-Domestic violence third degree-harassment from the 23000 building of Hilbun Way, Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 0 block of Spider Lily Lane, Maylene.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 100 block of Meadow View Road, Maylene. A 10-foot metal post sustained $120 in damages.

-Assault third degree from the 11300 block of U.S. 280 East, Westover.

March 3

-DUI from the 100 block of Valleydale Road, Inverness.

-Domestic investigation from the 1000 block of Norman Way, Birmingham.

-Burglary, theft of property from the 1000 block of Meadow Drive, Birmingham. Six miscellaneous wigs and $200 all in $20 bills were stolen.

-Identity theft from the 2000 block of Shelby County 71, Lot 11, Shelby. Approximately $1,190.82 was stolen.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 0 block of Spider Lily Lane, Maylene.

-Fire investigation from the 400 block of Snow Drive, Alabaster. A mobile home was burned.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 400 block of West College Street, Columbiana. Suspected meth (approximately 3.9 grams) and a clear straw with meth residue were confiscated.

-Theft of property from the 3100 block of Retreat Circle, Birmingham. $3,000 was stolen.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 100 block of Adney Circle, Shelby. Two pink Suboxone pills and 2 milligrams Suboxone strips were confiscated.

-Harassment from the 200 block of Mountain Crest Road, Chelsea.

-Assault with bodily fluids, failure to appear from the 4700 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

-Resisting arrest from the 4700 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

-Probation revocation (two counts) from Simmsville Road, Alabaster. Cocaine (0.3 gram), Alprazolam (0.4 gram), Oxycodone (0.5 gram) and marijuana (4 grams) were confiscated.

March 4

-Agency assist from the 234-mile marker of I-65 North, Alabaster.

-Miscellaneous incident from the 24000 block of Alabama 25, Columbiana. A 2019 Chevy Silverado sustained more than $8,000 in damages.

-Identity theft from the 6000 block of Double Oak Court, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 2000 block of Massey Road, Alabaster. A chicken sustained $30 in damages.

-Assault from the 700 block of Shelby County 270, Maylene.

-Theft of property third degree from the 1400 block of Shelby County 54, Montevallo. $1,000 in U.S. currency was stolen.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 1000 block of Springfield Loop West, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 400 block of Kates Farm Road, Wilsonville.

-Incident from the 3100 block of Westover Road, Westover. An explosive was recovered.

-Assist DHR from the 30 block of River Front Street, Shelby.

-Public intoxication from the 3600 block of Cahaba Beach Road, Birmingham.

-Incident from the 10000 block of Shelby County 55, Westover.

-Property damage from the 41000 block of Alabama 25, Vincent. A door lock was damaged.

March 5

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, fleeing or attempting to elude from the 1 block of Chism Circle, Montevallo. Marijuana (9 grams) and a scale and baggies were confiscated.

-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle, criminal mischief from the 1000 block of Meadow Drive, Birmingham. A passenger side window sustained $350 in damages.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from Alabama 25 at Mallary Road, Wilsonville. Meth (approximately 0.81 gram) and a glass pipe with meth residue were confiscated.

-Incident from the 2500 block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham. A 2022 Hyundai Tucson was damaged.

-Theft of property from the 1500 block of Afton Drive, Birmingham. A total of $950 was stolen from a check.

-Incident from 3 Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham. A Glock 19X, Glock extended magazine and 25 9-millimeter rounds were recovered.

-Incident from the 0 block of Maplecrest Drive, Sterrett.

-Harassing communications from the 90 block of Silver Lane, Columbiana.

-Receiving stolen property second degree from U.S. 31 at Seventh Avenue, Alabaster. A Glock 19X 9-millimeter pistol and 17 round 9-millimeter magazine was recovered; also a 31 round 9-millimeter magazine was confiscated.

-Theft by deception third degree from the 300 block of Mane Ranch Circle, Montevallo. $550 in U.S. currency was stolen.

March 6

-DUI, unlawful possession of marijuana from Shelby County 270 and Meadow View Road, Maylene. Green marijuana (2.1 grams) and a glass pipe with burnt residue were confiscated.

-Incident from the 19200 block of U.S. 280, Birmingham.

-Theft of property, criminal mischief from the 11000 block of U.S. 280, Westover. A 16-foot flatbed trailer valued at $2,550 was stolen, and part of the front gate was cut in half amounting to $50 in damages.

-Sexual misconduct from the 15000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

-Agency assist from the 300 block of McDow Road, Columbiana.

-Incident from the 16000 block of U.S. 280, Chelsea.

-Incident from the 100 block of Mitchell Street, Wilsonville. A pre-culvert pipe was damaged.

-Property damage from an unknown location. A 2023 Chevy Equinox was damaged.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 5300 block of U.S. 280, Hoover at Walmart. Marijuana in a plastic pill bottle (16 grams) was confiscated.

-Forgery from the 0 block of Holloway Hill Drive, Montevallo.

-Domestic violence-harassment from the 100 block of Christy Drive, Shelby.

-Harassing communications from the 5000 block of Stratford Road, Birmingham.

March 7

-Theft of property fourth degree from the 6200 block of Beaver Brook Cove, Birmingham. A black purse valued at $60, Visa debit card and $20 in cash were stolen.

-Incident from Joinertown Road at Queen Drive, Columbiana. A front bumper sustained $500 in damages.

-Incident from the 400 block of Shelby County 87, Calera.

-Domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation, domestic violence-reckless endangerment from the 500 block of Dogwood Circle, Birmingham.

-Theft of property, identity theft from the 200 block of Hollybrook Road, Columbiana. $800 in cash was stolen.

-Civil dispute from the 100 block of Spruce Drive, Columbiana.

-Property damage from the 300 block of Carlow Lane, Birmingham. A 2023 Dodge Challenger was damaged.

-Financial exploitation of an elderly person, theft of property from the 800 block of Shelby County 50, Vandiver. More than $100,000 was stolen from the victim’s bank account, and a Smith & Wesson .38 special pistol was stolen.

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 300 block of Emerald Lane, Chelsea.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Hillside Lane, Sterrett.

March 8

-Possession of a forged instrument (three counts), trafficking in stolen identities from the 200 block of West College Street, Columbiana. A brown suede satchel bag was confiscated, and U.S. Passport cards were forged.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia from the 2800 block of Greystone Commercial Boulevard, Birmingham. Two clear plastic baggies of meth (7 grams) and a glass pipe with residue were confiscated.

-Unauthorized use of vehicle from the 0 block of Little Rock Lane, Alabaster. A 2015 Ram truck 2500 Crew was confiscated.

-Identity theft from the 1000 block of Oak Tree Boulevard, Chelsea.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana second degree, drug paraphernalia from First Avenue West at Cedar Meadow Parkway, Alabaster. Marijuana (0.8 gram) and an orange pill bottle with marijuana residue were confiscated.

-Incident from 380 McDow Road, Columbiana.

-Lost property from the 100 block of Old Highway 25, Columbiana. A key to a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder was reported.

-Incident from the 100 block of Woodbury Drive, Chelsea.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana second degree from the 10000 block of U.S. 280, Westover. A sealed THC cookie vape cartridge, marijuana in a blue container (2 grams), used pipe and a THC vape pen with cartridge were confiscated.
