The Calera High School girls’ basketball team defeated Oak Grove 55-25 in high school basketball action Dec. 9.

Tyesha Haynes and Perri Duncan led the Eagles with 14 points each in the victory.

A’Kia Harris added 11 points in the win.

BOYS

The Calera High School boys’ basketball team defeated Oak Grove 89-61 in high school basketball action Dec. 9.

Deondre Haynes led the Eagles (7-1) with 24 points in the victory.

Ronnie Clark and Jordan Bishop added 21 points each. Jeremy Hyde chipped in 10 points in the win.
