Cornerstone Christian School Senior Bethany G. Webb has advanced to finalist standing in the National Merit Scholarship Program of 2010 by demonstrating through distinguished performance high potential for future academic accomplishment.

Webb participates in the National Beta Club, yearbook staff, Mu Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society, the math team and the Scholars’ Bowl team. She plays volleyball and was a member of several all-tournament teams this year. Bethany plans to attend either Samford University or Union University in the fall. She is a finalist for the Beeson Scholarship at Samford University and will be competing in the Scholars of Excellence scholarship at Union University. She expects to major in English and communications with a minor in christian studies.
