John ‘J.W.’ Blackmon, 75, of Calera, passed away Dec. 11, 2009 in Alabaster.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Calvin Crocker officiating at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Blackmon; daughter, Pamela Blackmon; son, Roger Dale Blackmon; brothers and sisters, Joyce (Earnest) Hall, June (Ken) Yarbrough, James (Annette) Blackmon, Gerald (Diane) Blackmon, and Doris Caputo; grandson, Brad Blackmon; granddaughter, Kara Beth Blackmon; great-granddaughter, Lexis Nicole Blackmon; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
