Billie Bob Horton, age 73, a resident of Clanton, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010 at his home. Chapel service was at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 20 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana. Burial followed at Collins Chapel, Clanton. Visitation was Thursday, Aug. 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Horton was a hard workingman that was a loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by his son, Perry Horton; five brothers and two sisters; and granddaughter, April Green.

Mr. Horton is survived by his wife, Sylvia Horton; sons, Bobby Horton (Frankie), Ray Horton (Diane), Greg Horton (Gina); daughters, Lavada Lewis, Pamela Bullock; daughters-in-law, Becky Horton; brothers, Fred Horton, Leon Horton, James Horton, Jimmy Horton; sisters, Mamie Cardin, Virginia Riddles, Martha Massey; grandchildren, 11; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
