Frances Elizabeth Jarvis, age 87, of Alabaster passed away, Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry F. “Jip” Jarvis; and sons, Charles Edward, Jerry, Roger and Terry Jarvis. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Sherry A. Lawley of Alabaster; son, Michael Jarvis of Jemison; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo. Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Dailey officiating. She will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
