The Thompson High School boys’ soccer team defeated Bessemer City 10-0 in high school soccer action March 7.

Jacob Ramsey led the Warriors (7-3-1 overall, 5-1 in Class 6A, Section 6) with five goals in the victory.

Jacob Marasckin and Taylor Cox added two goals each. Luke McKinney contributed one goal.

Thompson goalkeeper posted 11 saves in the shutout, which was aided by defenders Austin Bunch and Jeremy Hitt.
