James William Crumpton, age 62, of Calera, passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at Hopewell Church of God in the Fellowship Hall, Bessemer at 5 p.m. Survivors are his loving wife and children; grandchildren; brothers and sisters; and other family members and many friends. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Charter Funeral Home directed.
