Gary Watts, age 72, a resident of Calera, passed away on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, at Calera Baptist Church with Dr. Hal Warren and Rev. Stephen Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens. Bolton Funeral Home of Columbiana is directing. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 6-8 p.m. at Calera Baptist Church. Gary is retired from State Farm Insurance Company with over 40 years of service. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family, attending Alabama football games and playing golf with his buddies.

Gary is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jimmie Ruth Watts; children, Alan Watts (Tami) and Denise Eddleman (Marty); grandchildren, Stacy Eddleman, Shea Westfall (J.P.), Stephanie Eddleman, Tyler Watts, Haley Watts and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
