ALABASTER – Locals looking to find a good deal while supporting a Thompson High School sports team will have a chance to do so in late March.

The THS track team will host a $1 yard sale from 8 a.m.-noon on Saturday, March 21 in the THS cafeteria.

All items at the sale will be $1, regardless of the item, and all proceeds will benefit the THS track team.

Items for sale at the event will be donated by track athletes and their families, and the team will accept donations from members of the community from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, March 20, in the THS cafeteria.

Event organizer Jamia Williams said the sale will feature a gamut of items such as books, clothes, toys, electronics, movies and more.
