Alleged robbery reported on University of Montevallo campus

MONTEVALLO–The University of Montevallo Police Department are currently searching for two robbery suspects that allegedly robbed a victim on the university’s campus on the afternoon of Dec. 7, according to an alert sent by the school.

The strong-armed robbery occurred on North Boundary St. near Jeter and Napier Halls at approximately 1:40 p.m., according to the alert.

The suspects were described as two black males, one wearing a black long sleeve T-shirt and one wearing a black jacket. Both men appeared to be in their teens and approximately 6-feet-tall.

No weapon was used on the victim and the suspects allegedly fled in an unknown direction of travel.
