The Shelby County Arts Council is pleased to welcome back Carrington Wilson as she offers a one-day workshop on ring-making. The class is open to beginners through advanced students and will provide a glimpse into the vast world of rings. In the class, the students will learn to create several styles of rings using different techniques.

The students will be instructed by Carrington Wilson. She is a career artist and jeweler with a degree in fine arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Wilson is deeply inspired by her grandfather, a gemologist, and her father, who served in the army. Her grandfather supported her love of stones and her father taught her the value of tools. Through these influences, she strives to teach her students the tools and the techniques that will inspire them to find their own way of expression.
