Winners named in Pelham’s Christmas lights display contest

PELHAM – The Pelham Beautification Board recently announced the winners of the city’s Christmas decorations and lights display contest.

After journeying through the city looking for residents with the best Christmas decorations and lights display, the Beautification Board announced winners in four categories – Power Express, Best Residential, Honorable Mention and Best Fire Station.

The Power Express award went to the resident with a light display that goes above and beyond. This award is for the house best resembling Clark Griswold’s house from the movie “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.”

All of the winners and the honorable mention were notified. In addition to sharing the photos of the winning businesses and homes on Facebook, the winners will also be shared on all of the city’s social media outlets. The winners in each category typically are honored during a January City Council meeting.

Here are the winners:

Power Express – 1302 Keith Road
-The home located at 1302 Keith Road features colorful lights displays complete with an illuminated Santa Claus, deer, snowmen, a big teddy bear and so much more.

Best Residential – 268 Kings Crest
-The home located at 268 Kingscrest Lane is beautiful traditionally decorated home. The white lights on both levels along with welcoming nutcrackers on the porch definitely set a wonderful Christmas tone.

Honorable Mention – 130 High Hampton

Best Station – Station No. 1
