Step back in time and learn how colonial spies passed secret messages. Take part in the trial of Blackbeard’s pirates. Join Paul Revere on his midnight ride to warn the colonists that the British are coming. Meet people of the past and enjoy Colonial games on the green. You may even be conscripted into the Continental Army.

Read the Village Gazette upon arrival at the Visitors Center to find out each day’s revolutionary events. Choose one or all from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays from June 4-July 31 (excluding July 3-5).

Join family, friends and neighbors at the American Village to celebrate Independence Day 1776 with fun, food and fireworks through twilight’s last gleaming.

Admission is $5 (free to veterans, active military and children 4 and under).
