Locally conceived tutoring program starts third year

Homework Alabama, which began as a project for the county’s Mildred Harrison Regional Library System, begins its third year as a state program. It offers help in English, math, science and social studies for students in fourth through 12th grades, as well as those taking introductory college courses. The free Web-based tutoring service can be accessed at www.homeworkalabama.org
