Hansel Gregory Lewis, of Orange Beach, was born in Alabama on June 20, 1957, formerly of Calera, passed away Monday, Aug. 20, 2007 at the age of 50.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Charter Funeral Home with his burial in Shelby Memory Garden in Calera. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home.

His mother, Martha Ann Lewis preceded Mr. Lewis in death. Survivors include his father, Hansel Lewis of Calera; sister, Wanda Easterling of Wetumpka; brothers, Michael W. Lewis (Vickie) and Huey Lewis (Renee), all of Calera; and a host of nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction on Charter Funeral Home in Calera
