The Calera High School volleyball team defeated Jemison in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A, Area 6 match Sept. 20.

A’Kia Harris led the Eagles (18-10) with 18 kills in the victory. Harris also recorded five service aces and five digs.

Elizabeth Rhinehart added six kills, three service aces and five digs. Amber Sherman posted three kills and four service aces. Caitlin Ryan led the Eagles with 14 digs. Aubrie Smith recorded four service aces.

Kellie Rasmussen registered four service aces and a team-high 41 assists in the match.
