The Craft Burger opens new location on Highway 280

NORTH SHELBY – Burger fans now have a new spot to visit along the Highway 280 corridor after the opening of a new location of The Craft Burger.

The Craft Burger is now open off of U.S. 280 at 5479 U.S. 280 Suite 102 in north Shelby County where Besitos Mexican Kitchen was formerly located across the street from the Lee Branch shopping center.

News of the new restaurant coming to the 280 corridor was first announced back in January 2024 after the business’s sign was put up on display. On July 6, the business shared that it was open on social media after receiving its first review.

The new 280 restaurant marks the third location to open for the business after the first opened in Hoover back in 2017 on Caldwell Mill Road and a second location in downtown Birmingham in 2020.

The Craft Burger is best known for its selection of burgers including, a cheese burger, a swiss burger, slaw burger, southern bacon pimento cheese burger and more. The business also offers a number of other crafted selections, including sandwiches, hot dogs and salads.
