Students learned and had fun while at the Disney parks in Orlando.

Shades Mountain Christian School’s 10th, 11th and 12th grade students and faculty attended the Disney Youth Education Series in Orlando, Florida, Sept. 22-25.

The Disney Youth Education Series provides a hands-on, educational adventure in the heart of the Disney Parks. Students can choose from a variety of guided field studies in applied sciences, environmental sciences, liberal arts and leadership development. Each study is accredited and standards-based, and it is designed to build upon foundations from the classroom.

Students are encouraged to use teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving skills during their guided field studies. In addition, the students and faculty had the opportunity to spend time in the Disney parks and build relationships that will last a lifetime.
