Jessica Ray and Mitch Ray were married May 30, 2015 at Sterling Castle in Shelby, Alabama. Rev. Calvin Kelly officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bobby Taylor of Pell City and Donna Taylor of Semmes. The groom is the son of Michael and Cheryl Ray of Birmingham.

Rachel Backlin served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Robin Wesson, Joy Atkinson, Allison Lambert and Lynya Tyalor, junior bridesmaid. Makinley Hanes was the junior flower girl, and Andrew Tyndall served as the ring bearer. Program attendants were Morgan Russo, Caden Haynes and Caroline Tyndall.

Houston Bendall served as the best man. Groomsmen were Joe Wesson, Josh Atkinson, Lance Vickers, Chris Hilliard and Ben Alfano.

Ginnard Archibald of Ginnard Photography provided the photography. Other vendors included Classic on Noble for catering and Barb’s Cakes for the bride’s and groom’s cakes.

The bride graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School in 2009 and the University of Alabama in 2012 with a degree in telecommunication and film. She is currently employed as a digital account executive at WIAT 42 News and LIN Digital.

The groom graduated from Oak Mountain High School in 2006 and the University of Alabama in 2011 with degrees in communication studies and telecommunication and film. The groom is the Central Alabama account executive at Auto-Chlor.

The couple lives in the Meadowbrook area in North Shelby.
