April 1
Camp Read S’more: Music Camp

Spend spring break with us. Join us for a special activity, followed by a serving of everyone’s favorite camp treat. Stories and music will be provided for preschool-kindergarten. Registration is no longer required. Just show up on the day of the program. The program will be April 1 at 9:30 and 11 a.m., and April 2 (Science Camp) at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Aron Kallay
Hoover Public Library
Grammy-nominated performer Aron Kallay is a modern renaissance man: a performer, educator, innovator, festival director and more. He is a faculty member at the University of Southern California and Chapman University. Kallay will perform at the Hoover Public Library at 7:30 p.m.

Gentle Yoga
Aldridge Gardens
Star Rosser’s lifestyle and yoga classes and lifestyle are about taking time to connect with the body and giving self-care, self-acceptance and self-love. Classes will be on Wednesday mornings April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and will continue through June (no class June 3). The cost is $15 per class. Corey Nolen Concert

Moonlight on the Mountain

Walk for Autism and 5K

Veterans Park
The Walk for Autism raises money for the Autism Society of Alabama and brings together families in the autism spectrum disorder (ASD) community. The event includes a 5K race starting at 7:30 a.m., with registration at 7 a.m., and a noncompetitive 2-mile Awareness Walk at 9:30 a.m. (check-in and registration begins at 8:30 a.m.). Registration before the event is $30, and day-of registration is $35. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. For more information or to register, go to Walkforautismal.com.
