Oak Mountain defeats Chelsea

The Oak Mountain Eagles evened their area series against the Chelsea Hornets with a 5-2 victory April 5.

The Eagles (15-13) scored five runs in the third inning to take the win.

Oak Mountain’s Chandler Clower pitched five and a third innings in the win and allowed a run on two hits with four strikeouts and two walks. Wesley Nail picked up the save while allowing one run on three hits with three strikeouts.

Pierce Clarke and Josh O’Shields each went 1-for-3 with a RBI.
