Cornerstone volleyball player selected for all-star game

Cornerstone Christian School senior Kailey Goodwin has been selected to participate in the Alabama Independent Schools Association All-Star volleyball match.

Goodwin will play for the East team in the All-Star game, which will be held Nov. 6 at Kingwood Christian School in Alabaster.

Goodwin, a 5-foot-7 middle hitter, helped the Chargers compile a 9-8 record in AISA Class 1A competition this season.

Goodwin is the only representative in the All-Star contest from Shelby County.
