-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance/unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 31 (parking lot, garage). Confiscated, seized were 10.5 grams Endocet pills and a metal tube believed to be used to smoke crack cocaine.
-Property damage/leaving the scene of an accident from the 300 block of Fifth Avenue Southeast (highway, street). Damaged were power and phone line poles.
-Unlawful possession of marijuana from Ninth Avenue Southeast (highway, street). Confiscated, seized was a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana (1.1 grams).
-Theft of property from Wal-mart, Colonial Promenade Parkway (department store). Stolen were $15, a driver’s license valued at $20, a Social Security card and a wallet valued at $30.
-Criminal mischief from 1980 Highway 31 (parking lot, garage). Damaged in the amount of $400 was a 2008 Nissan Altima.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Goldwire Place.
-Criminal mischief from the 100 block of Ashford Lane. Damaged was a solar yard light in the amount of $30.

Jan. 21
-Damage to property from the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue Southwest. Damaged was a brick residential mailbox in the amount of $400.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana/unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Warrior Drive (highway, street). Recovered was a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana in a green transparent pill bottle (1.5 grams) and an aluminum pipe believed to be used to smoke marijuana.
-Death investigation from the 1000 block of Third Street Northeast.

-Theft of property from Whitestone Shopping Center (supermarket). Stolen were a Belk card, a Lowe’s card and $35 in cash.
-Unlawful possession of prescription medication from Municipal Park (other, unknown). Recovered was a round pill with the letters R 35 on one side and scored on the other.

-Burglary/theft of property from Shelby Medical Center, Highway 31 (other, unknown). Stolen was a Dell computer valued at $1,000.
-Domestic violence investigation/assault from the 100 block of Douglas Drive.

Jan. 22
-Terroristic threats from 340 South Colonial Drive (service, gas station).
-Domestic violence/harassment from the 100 block of Reese Drive.
-Harassing communications from the 800 block of Barclay Drive.
-Theft of property from the 800 block of Keystone Mobile Home Park. Stolen was a 1986 Chevrolet Astro van valued at $400.
-Theft of property from 13th Street Southwest. Stolen was a Shindaiwa backpack blower valued at $469.

-Theft of property from the 40 block of Hilltop Lane. Stolen were a purse valued at $20 and $24 in cash.

-Information only – found property from the BP gas station, Highway 25 and Highway 70, Columbiana (parking lot, garage). Recovered was a Samsung Boost Mobile cell phone.
-Domestic incident from the 100 block of 11th Avenue Southeast.
-Unlawful possession of marijuana from the 200 block of Seventh Place Southeast (highway, street). Confiscated, seized were six bags of green leafy substance in cellophane believed to be marijuana (6 grams).
-Information from the 1500 block of Kent Dairy Road.
-Information only from the 100 block of Tall Timber Road. Listed was a Colt 1911 firearm valued at $500.

-Theft (shoplifting) from 5100 U.S. Highway 31 (supermarket). Stolen and recovered were items valued at $30.13. Suffix (1).

-Found property from 5075 U.S. Highway 31 (parking lot, garage). Listed were a wallet, a Regions Bank check card and various other cards.
-Property damage from the 11000 block of Alabama Highway 25 (highway, street). Damaged in the amount of $300 Hyundai Sonata.
-Unlawful possession of controlled substance/unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from 10947 Alabama Highway 25 (jail, prison). Confiscated, seized were 10 Dextro-Amphetamine pills wrapped in tissue and one 3-inch straw with residue. Suffix (A).

-Burglary/theft from the 600 block of Waterford Lane. Stolen was an Apple Mac Book Pro valued at $1,700.
-Burglary/criminal mischief from Camden Cove Circle. Damaged in the amount of $200 was a window screen.

-Property damage from the 15000 block of Highway 25 (highway, street). Damaged was a 1989 Chevrolet S10.
-Theft from 1614 County Road 84 (construction). Stolen were two 75-foot welding leads valued at $2,400.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card/criminal impersonation from unknown, believed to have been in the 300 block of Old Highway 25 East (other, unknown). Stolen was $540.72.

Jan. 21
-Criminal trespassing/criminal mischief from the 400 block of Highway 70 (commercial). Damaged were four ABC Fire extinguishers emptied of contents in the amount of $20.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle/theft of property from the 1200 block of Johnson Street. Stolen were a Sony AM/FM CD player valued at $150 and a battery charger valued at $50.

-Domestic violence/unlawful possession of marijuana from 2700 Welling Drive. Recovered were a Taurus .38 special firearm valued at $300, a manila envelope containing a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana valued at $50, a bong used to smoke marijuana valued at $20, a set of digital scales valued at $20, a set of tweezers used to hold a marijuana roach, a marijuana grinder valued at $10 and a set of rolling papers used to smoke marijuana valued at $5.
-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from Wal-mart parking lot. Stolen were a camera lens valued at $399, a UV protector, a C100 Emulsion cleaner valued at $9, a 62mm Snap-On lens cover valued at $6, a UV Haze converter valued at $26, a cap keeper valued at $4 and a lens cloth valued at $5.
