The Oak Mountain High School baseball team defeated Chiles High School of Tallahassee, Fla., 6-0 in high school baseball action March 21.

The Eagles (11-7) scored four runs in the second inning and a single run in the fourth and sixth innings.

Heath Quinn led Oak Mountain at the plate as he finished 2-for-3 with two doubles. Quinn scored three runs in the victory.

Connor Pinegar finished 2-for-2 and drove in two runs.

Jake Hubbard picked up the win on the mound after giving up only three hits with 10 strikeouts and three walks in a complete game.
